About us

We are an online apparel retailer based in the City of Sails, Auckland, New Zealand. The directors of SouqBazaar have lived in several different countries and have travelled the world from Japan to the UK, from Australia to South America, from Hawaii to LA and have seen a huge variety of original apparel that was not easily accessible or even available back home. We also identified that this was a common problem outside of NZ. After discovering through online research, there is no website that focuses solely on apparel offering a diverse range of options.

We decided to remedy this.

We wanted an online store that offered all the things that were important to us: Variety, Originality, Accessibility, and Quality.In February 2008 SouqBazaar.com was created to meet our criteria and we decided to share this with the rest of the world.

Souq Bazaar Definition

souq, (also sook, souk, or suq, or shuq in Hebrew) is an ancient Hebrew word for market place.
bazaar, a shop where a variety of goods are sold. In the East, an exchange, marketplace, or assemblage of shops where goods are exposed for sale.
